  • Registration will be confirmed after receiving full payment. Those who do not receive a confirmation notice before the congress are requested to contact the registration secretariat at registration@wcere2014.org. Only participants who complete their registration will be included in the programme.
  • The date of payment is decisive for the registration fee. Even if the registration form is received before the early bird deadline, it will not be considered as early registration if the payment has not been carried out before the deadline.
  • Registration Fees include 18% VAT.

AERE and EAERE Memberships

1 The conference dinner is on July 1, 2014 at Portaxe Restaurant. Seats at the conference dinner are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
2 Reduced fees apply for:
STUDENTS: Students are requested to prove their status of student by e-mailing to registration@wcere2014.org or faxing to +90 212 347 63 63, a note from their department on letterhead, a copy of their Student ID Card or the URL of the webpage run within the official website of their department in which they are mentioned as students.
RESIDENTS IN EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES: The following countries are to be considered as Eastern European countries: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia-Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
RESIDENTS IN LOW INCOME, LOWER-MIDDLE-INCOME and UPPER-MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMIES, in accordance to the definition provided by the World Bank.

The "standard registration fee" includes as usual participation in three social events: the welcome cocktail, the conference dinner plus a third social event; in order to allow for more accessible fee categories, participants are offered the possibility of purchasing a "discounted registration fee" that does not include the conference dinner (including only the welcome cocktail and a social event). Financial Assistance for Event Fees:

  • Don't miss out on this year's WCERE, the organization responsible for bringing together the world's greatest minds in social, political, business, and environmental economics. If you wish to attend this five day event but are lacking the money to get you here, ask your university's financial office if any aid packages are available. Otherwise, you can get funds to pay for all conference related expenses with short term financing. This form of financing provides a flexible repayment period and allows you to pay for the cost of attending the conference over multiple installments. The knowledge you gain will last a lifetime while your loan payments will only last a matter of months. It's in your best interest to apply for financing early so you can start planning your trip.

Cancellation Policy - Registration:

Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing by the WCERE 2014 Registration Secretariat (DEKON) by fax at +90 212 347 63 63, or via e-mail to registration@wcere2014.org.

  • Cancellations received before or on May 31, 2014 - an administrative fee of 50 € will be applied
  • Cancellations received on or after June 1, 2014 - no refund

Please note that registration refunds will be processed within 30 days after the end of WCERE 2014, bank charges will be deducted from the refund.
